Claymation on canvas motion study

This is a motion study for our groups upcoming project which is planned to be a claymation. Clay on a canvas, although time consuming and quite laborious, has the unique effect of smooth transformation and movement across a flat canvas. We really enjoy the texture it provides for the object as well as its colours. We anticipate our main difficulty will be lighting and keeping the brightness consistent. We hope to minimize these difficulties by properly positioning the camera and minimizing movement.
